Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:
  • Be a citizen of the United States

  • Be of legal age in the state or province in which the applicant resides

  • Be a junior, senior or graduate student at a college

  • Complete the official application form (90K PDF) and submit with it all of the items listed below. To be valid, applications must include the following supporting documentation. Failure to turn in any of the required materials without explanation will be grounds for automatic denial of the application.

    1. A signed statement regarding your general activities and intellectual interests in college: college training (college attended, number of years, and degree secured or to be secured within the next year); activities and employment outside college for the past four years (or longer, if pertinent); contemplated line of study for a degree; and the career you expect to follow after leaving college. (This statement should not exceed 1,000 words.)

    2. Discuss at least five different career opportunities which are available to women in the field of commercial real estate. Additionally, focus on how women can train, study and/or take various positions of employment to pursue these careers. Finally, discuss how the careers relate to each other. (This statement should not exceed 1,500 words.)

    3. Official copies of all transcripts of all your collegiate records (certified by the Registrar or some other responsible official) of the courses you have taken.

    4. A written statement from the Dean of your college recommending your application.

    5. Request two individuals to write a letter regarding your qualifications and character and to forward these letters in envelopes marked "Confidential" to the CREW Scholarship committee at the address below.
If awarded a scholarship, you may be requested to attend a CREW meeting in the fall of 2008.

DEADLINE

Completed applications and all requested additional documentation MUST be received by September 30th.
