Paint the Town Pink |
|
Every May, Chicago’s skyline has turned pink in honor of the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization’s Race to Empower. This year for the first time, John Hancock Center added its support to the pink crusade. Paula Harris, a breast cancer survivor who launched the "Paint the Town Pink" campaign eleven years ago to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in Chicago, is also a senior vice president at Golub & Company and a long standing CREW member. Upon purchasing the commercial components of the 100-story building in January of this year, Golub & Company immediately added John Hancock Center to the pink skyline initiative and plans to continue the tradition each year. We congratulate Paula on her leadership and fortitude regarding this important initiative.
As evidenced by John Hancock Center, newcomers are always welcome to Chicago’s pink skyline. We encourage you to consider how you could show support through your buildings next May or beyond.
For more information about how to participate in this initiative, please contact Paula Harris at pharris@goco.com.
