2012 Leadership Series Program: Women in the Board RoomCatherine Tinker, Columbian Model & Exhibit Works, Ltd. “Know what you want and do not be afraid to ask for it” was the mantra at the “Women in the Board Room” members-event held on May 8, 2012. The talented panel consisted of the following women, each of which have exceptional depth, diversity and experience serving on corporate and institutional boards:

She has over 30 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including serving as chief financial officer for 3 large corporations. She served as board chair for the board of trustees of a mutual fund and is currently a board member of a suburban bank. Pamela McElvane is the Chief Executive Officer of Diversity MBA, a Chicago-based business serving Fortune 1000 companies and offering innovative approaches to diversity business solutions.
