 CREW Network Winter 2012 Leadership Summit

Seven CREW Chicago members attended CREW Network’s Winter Leadership Summit and Council Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on February 2nd and 3rd. (Delegate) Sharon Krohn, Collete English-Dixon (Network past President), Cindy Wozny-Carl (Network Committee Member), Janet Johnson (Chicago Chapter President), Jennifer Tammen (Delegate), Mirela Gabrovska and Julie Sorensen (Delegate) - (photo left to right) took part in this energetic exchange of ideas and leadership training session. There was lots of excitement about the upcoming Network Convention to be held in Chicago this October. Sharon Krohn presented an overview of the 2011 White Paper, “Success and Satisfaction of Women in Commercial Real Estate”. This White Paper is available in the Member center of the CREW Network website under “Research”. CREW Network offers many free resources to our members. Check out the website at www.crewnetwork.org. There are opportunities for our members to nominate themselves for industry recognition awards, as well as refer qualified candidates for scholarship applications.

At the monthly CREW Chicago luncheon on Wednesday, January 25th 2012, certified leadership coach and CREW member, Sharon Krohn of Sharon Krohn Consulting & Executive Search encouraged us to empower ourselves by becoming more aware of our personal histories and to look at our past with new eyes. Several visuals clearly illustrated that we each respond to a single visual cue with many varied ideas, underscoring that our individual experiences shape our interpretations and our messages.
