Putting the "Ease" in Green Leases Now:
What do owners, tenants, architects and attorneys say about green leases today?
Who:
Open invitation to CREW Members and Non-Members
What:
A few years ago, everyone wanted to be green. Tenants scrambled to outdo each other in their commitment to the environment, property owners sought certification for their buildings, and architects incorporated the latest earth-friendly finishes and equipment in tenant spaces. This program will feature panelists from different disciplines, who will take stock of where we are now, discussing questions such as: Has interest in being environmentally conscious waned with cash flow from office buildings? What are tenants requesting from owners? Are landlords as interested in seeking certification for their buildings are they were a couple of years ago? How are spaces being built out? Finally, have lease documents themselves changed to reflect landlord and tenant concerns, and if so, how?
