A Letter from President Cindy Wozny-Carl

CREW Chicago (Commercial Real Estate Executive Women) is part of the CREW Network, a federation of 66 local chapters across the US and Canada, representing 8,000 professionals in every discipline of Commercial Real Estate. The Crew Network strives to work toward the goal of achieving parity in opportunity, influence and power for women in our industry.

We have come a long way in our goal to heighten the image of CREW Chicago and our members. Our new communications team focuses on member news, our website and public relations, finding new ways to promote and support women in commercial real estate.  We are beginning that support early this year with CREW Careers™, a program that teaches young girls about real estate careers. We partnered with the Girl Scouts and on April 5th, 50 girl scouts and 40 CREW members will spend the day discovering how fun commercial real estate can be.

We are celebrating our CREW Chicago's 20th anniversary this year!  Throughout the year we will be hearing from the leaders and founders of our Chapter, through interviews on this website and at our Luncheon meetings.  Special events are being planned to commemorate this milestone including our June 12th  Leadership session, a Fall symposium, and a champagne event in November.

As our Chicago chapter celebrates its 20th anniversary, we would like to recognize our founding members. They were in a tough industry and had the foresight to create a network for support.  We have them to thank for creating an environment that seems so easy today compared to then.
